LivELY Concert by Garahe Ni Jeff

It was the first time for the band to perform a live concert opening for the OPM legends Ely Buendia and Introvoys. Following the hiatus of Eraserheads, lead singer Ely Buendia formed another band called PUPIL. The band comprise of Wendel, Dok and Yael. The group performed songs from their album aswell as some E-heads tunes. The crowd went wild when Ely performed the famous song "Ang Huling El Bimbo" as the enocore. I had the priviledge to meet Ely in person and saw how humble and approachable he was with the fans. Growing up, I listened to the tunes of the E-heads and never dreamt of meeting Ely. Garahe Ni Jeff performed four cover songs from U2, Lenny Kravitz and Dishwalla. We had fun at backstage meeting up some other bands and the members of another OPM legend, The Introvoys. They are famous for their songs "Di nako", "Kailanman", and "Line to heaven". Most of the group members are in their late 30's and is now working in the States and perfom gigs once in a while. It was a blast! Its an unforgettable experience for the band especially when they offered to perform again on June in Oxnard for Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee. Here are some pics from the show..
